What to expect at Dundee Church Night:
5:45-6:30 p.m., Dundee member and friends of all ages are invited to gather in the Dining Room for a fellowship meal as a church family. Childcare is available throughout the evening.
6:00-7:30 p.m., we have youth group for 6th-12th graders. Our goal is to help every student we encounter to know that they are loved by God. We exist to help equip students as they follow Jesus. Dundee’s youth ministry is a safe place for students to come with their questions and doubts and be heard. We seek truth, serve one another and practice grace.
6:30-7:30 p.m., each person will have choices to attend Pastor J.D.’s Koinonia adult Bible study, Small Community Group meetings, DPC Kids Club and childcare.
7:30-8:30 p.m., Chancel Choir and Praise Band will prepare for upcoming worship services. Bell Choir practice is from 5:45 p.m.-6:15 p.m.
“The key is that everyone will have choices to do as much or as little as their time permits on Wednesday evenings,” Pastor J.D. said. “They can stay for 45 minutes or three hours.”
While Sunday mornings are focused more on worshiping, Pastor J.D. said, Wednesday evenings will focus more on teaching, learning and discussing our Christian journey through Bible study.
Wednesday Church Night provides a balance to our Sunday morning worship.
Pastor J.D. urged members of the congregation not to worry if they have to miss a particular Wednesday or Sunday at church because they easily can resume again whenever possible.
“We hope that Dundee Church Night and Sunday worship will be a priority in the lives of all of our members,” Pastor J.D. said. “But it’s easy to plug right back in after we’ve had to be away.”
